Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is expanding its London presence by taking over office floors previously occupied by other tenants, underscoring the growing competition among hedge funds for high-quality workspace in the capital, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The report cites unnamed people familiar with the arrangements as saying that the multi-strategy hedge fund has agreed a series of deals to take additional space at the n2 development in Victoria. QRT is now expected to occupy most of the 161,000-square-foot building after originally committing to 40,000 square feet during its construction in 2022.
Neither QRT nor Land Securities, which owns the building, reportedly commented on the arrangements.
QRT's expansion reflects the firm's rapid growth since it was spun out of Credit Suisse in 2018 with approximately $800m of capital. The firm now manages around $55bn, according to figures for August, and operates across a range of strategies and activities, including market making, physical commodities and providing capital to external hedge fund managers.
Its Torus fund gained 18.6% during the first half of 2026, according to the report.
