The gross return of the SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index for August 2019 measured -0.43 per cent.
Hedge fund flows, meanwhile, as measured by the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index advanced 0.21 per cent in September.
"SS&C GlobeOp's Capital Movement Index rose 0.21 per cent for September 2019, up from the 0.03 per cent gain reported for the same period a year ago," says Bill Stone (pictured), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. "This increase marks the third consecutive favourable year-over-year comparison in monthly net flows. Investors clearly believe hedge fund managers can generate attractive returns in the current volatile market environment."
