TMF Group has expanded in Australia through the acquisition of Kingsway Taitz Fund Administration.

TMF Group has expanded in Australia through the acquisition of Kingsway Taitz Fund Administration.

Based in Sydney, Kingsway Taitz has been providing boutique fund administration services to its clients in Australia and internationally since 2006.

TMF says the transaction will strengthen its market position and expand its global fund administration platform in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Kingsway Taitz will be able to offer a broader suite of products.

Brian Taitz (pictured), managing director of Kingsway Taitz, says: 'In the three years since Kingsway Taitz was founded, the company has grown significantly through the continued delivery of high quality fund administration services. The increasing demand for our services made it apparent that the next phase of Kingsway Taitz's growth required the backing of a fund administrator with strong financial resources.'

Eric Koolen and Catherine Caradus, managing director of TMF FundServices (Australia), said: 'This transaction brings together two highly successful companies - one global and one local - with complementary skills and values, and a shared focus on client service and staff development.'

Koolen, who has 20 years' fund administration experience, will lead the combined organisation in Australia. Taitz will be involved with Kingsway Taitz for up to six months to ensure a seamless integration of the two organisations.
