The Channel Islands Stock Exchange (CISX) now lists a record number of securities following the addition of Man Global Strategies Investment Strategies Ltd.

The Channel Islands Stock Exchange (CISX) now lists a record number of securities following the addition of Man Global Strategies Investment Strategies Ltd.

The new listing, approved last week by the Channel Islands Market Authority, is the thousandth security to be added to the CISX's official list.

"Achieving the one thousandth listed security is a significant event for the CISX said CISX Chairman Harry Taylor, CBE. "It is also an indication of the many benefits of what a vibrant stock exchange brings to the business community in the Channel Islands."

Tamara Menteshvili, CISX Chief Executive, added: "It is seems fitting that this milestone should be set by Man Investments, as it was two Man open-ended hedge funds which were first listed at the CISX launch."

John Morrison, Man Investments CEO, said the company was proud to be associated with such an historic event at the exchange. "Since that first listing, Man Investments has grown from relatively modest proportions to become a world leader in alternative investments," he said.
