JPMorgan is set to part ways with Sean George, the high-yield trader it hired from Millennium Management in 2023. Details surrounding his departure remain unclear, including whether it was voluntary or a bank-led decision, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
George has nearly three decades of market experience, with previous stints at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, and Jefferies, before his time at Millennium and JPMorgan. Known for his expertise in high-yield trading, George is also notable outside finance for his background in mixed martial arts, including Brazilian jiu-jitsu, boxing, and Muay Thai.
JPMorgan and Citi declined to comment on the personnel changes.
