Fasanara Capital has hired former Jefferies executive Gaurav Sanan as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager to lead a new working capital credit portfolio in Abu Dhabi, as the alternative asset manager expands its presence in the Gulf.
Sanan, who spent more than five years at Jefferies, will focus on performing credit investments and developing institutional financing relationships. The appointment forms part of Fasanara's expansion within Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), where the firm is seeking to strengthen its credit investment platform and broaden its regional investor base.
Sanan brings 22 years of experience across credit markets, securitisation, structured finance and institutional lending, having previously held positions at DBS Bank, Falcon Group, EY and ICICI Bank. His experience spans Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
