Macpherson will manage both existing investor relationships and help drive Ferox's broader marketing efforts.
Macpherson started out at DLJ in London during the late 80s where she began her long-standing specialism in convertible bonds. After that she joined Warburg (which later became UBS Warburg), where in the mid 1990s she was Head of Global Convertible Bonds Sales and Research in London.
Her hedge fund career proper began in the late 1990s when she was responsible for business development for Coronation, the fund of funds. Fiona was subsequently at Coutts fund of funds in London (now RBS Asset Management) where she was a key player in asset allocation.
