MAXAM Capital Management has appointed Harvey Goldsmith as a senior VP and a senior member of the firm's research team, specializing in fixed income.
 
Prior to joining MAXAM, Goldsmith was a member of CT Fixed Income Management, LLC, where he managed the CT Fixed Income Fund of Funds.  And before joining CT in 2003, he held senior positions specializing in government and agency bond trading.

Background notes: MAXAM Capital Management LLC was founded in April 2005 by Sandra Manzke, who was also founder and co-Chief Executive Officer of Tremont Capital Management Inc, where she pioneered the inclusion of hedge fund investing in high net worth and institutional portfolios. MAXAM is covering the entire investment management community, not solely hedge funds, to make informed and knowledgeable decisions in portfolio construction. The company now has a roster of sixteen employees, ten of whom have worked together at their predecessor firm and currently has USD 1.3 billion in assets under management.
