MKM Partners has appointed Brian Cumberland as managing director of research sales, responsible for managing the firm's sales team globally.

MKM Partners has appointed Brian Cumberland as managing director of research sales, responsible for managing the firm's sales team globally.

As a member of MKM's operating committee, Cumberland will also work to develop and expand the firm's institutional research and trading product offerings.

Cumberland previously spent eight years at Merrill Lynch in New York working with institutional equity clients, most recently as a director and senior member of the hedge fund sales team.
