MSS Capital has taken on ex-FTSE director Graham Colbourne to help deepen the firm's relationships with UK and European pension funds and local authorities.

Colbourne joined FTSE in March 1998 and in his most recent role with the firm was a Director working with the Regional Managing Directors to develop and maintain FTSE's relationships with its major clients and potential clients.

Prior to that he was Chairman of FTSE Asia Pacific, where he headed the company's expansion into the region and the development of the FTSE Xinhua index series. He has also been Head of Research & Development and Director of Operations.

"Graham Colbourne brings with him a wealth of relationships, Index and product knowledge as well as deep understanding of Institutional asset allocation and their investment processes", says Simon Hookway, CEO of MSS Capital Limited.
 
Colbourne began his career in retail and institutional asset management before moving into fund management in both the fixed income and equity markets at Barclays Global Investors (BGI) where he later took on an international business development role, heading up BGI's local offices in Canada and Hong Kong. He finally returned to London as Director of IT and Operations. In his last post before joining FTSE Group, he was Managing Director of a regional retail stock-broking firm.
