Daniel Barnett, chief executive of Revere, a New York and London based investment group focused on emerging hedge fund managers, says the new appointments reflect its commitment to investors to source the most talented emerging hedge fund managers.

McClelland takes responsibility for a series of core functions at Revere, including investment strategy, manager sourcing, due diligence and post-transaction monitoring and will be based in the London office. He joins from the Man Group, where he spent nearly 14 years, most recently in the investment management division. McClelland worked in the new manager initiatives team which was responsible for seeding and developing early stage hedge fund managers and latterly was global head of hedge fund development at Man Global Strategies.

Andrew Godfrey takes responsibility for manager selection and manager development in North America. Godfrey joins from Focus Investment Group where he was head of the Emerging Manager Program, responsible for seeding and development of early stage hedge fund managers, and a member of the Asset Management Committee. Godfrey's responsibilities will also include distribution for North America. He will be based in the New York office. 

Revere Capital Advisors was founded by a number of former Man Group executives, including ex-chairman and chief executive Harvey McGrath and former chief financial officer Dan Barnett, to invest in early stage hedge fund managers.
