Standard & Poor's has appointed James Price as Director of Market Development for its European data and information services business.

Standard & Poor's has appointed James Price as Director of Market Development for its European data and information services business.

Based in London, he will report to Krishna Biltoo, Managing Director of European Data and Information.

One of Price's main roles will be to strengthen the recognition of Standard & Poor's as a critical provider of financial information and analytical tools as well as to increase the firm's outreach to credit markets. He will head a team of five professionals based in London.

Prior to joining Standard & Poor's, Price worked at Thomson Financial in Asia for three years in business development and product management, launching products across the region. Before that, he was with Coleman Bennett International for five years as a market data consultant, working for global financial institutions.
