Sprott Asset Management has appointed Peter Loach as executive vice president of product development.

Sprott Asset Management is a business unit of Sprott Inc and manager of the Sprott family of mutual funds, hedge funds and discretionary managed accounts.

Loach is widely recognised as one of Canada's leading fund analysts. Formerly, he held the position of managing director and vice president of investment fund research at BMO Nesbitt Burns, where he managed an investment fund research team that was responsible for evaluating retail mutual funds, hedge funds, structured notes and private equity funds.
