Nick Terras has moved from SJ Berwin to join law firm McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP in its rapidly growing Structured Finance and Hedge Funds Group.

Terras is a well-known structured finance and investment funds lawyer. He advises on the structuring of investments derived from hedge fund strategies, including tailored hedge funds and hedge fund products and has considerable experience in a range of securitization and repackaging structures based on alternative asset platforms.

Terras joins McDermott from SJ Berwin where he was a partner in the hedge fund and structured products practice. He has acted for a number of significant hedge funds and managers, investment banks and other product providers and distributors.
