Based in Hong Kong, Garnier will report to Nicolas Miara-Godet, global head of sales, and Frank Drouet, Asia-Pacific head of global equities and derivatives solutions. He previously headed equity derivatives sales for the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa regions for Société Générale CIB. Garnier joined the group in 1998 as an equity derivatives marketer. Société Générale is one of the largest financial services groups in the euro-zone. The group employs 163,000 people worldwide.
